The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. Good value for your money. The server is very unfriendly and I have been there a number of times. The server needs to try to be more welcoming.

I called and placed an order over the phone and specifically asked what comes in they Kung Pao Chicken because some places makes them similar but a lil different. I told them I didn’t want no peanuts or mushrooms if they were in it because I’m allergic to mushrooms they said okayy. I checked but it was under at the bottom and some pieces on top now if I asked you about the ingredients why would you still put them in it. I’m so disgusted because the lady had a serious attitude and want to talk in their language which is rude and also sneaky because we all know yall talk about us when yall do that but okayy. Clearly no good customer service at all and will not be back the one in Tilton is better anyways they get my order right every time no mix ups or mistakes. People can die by having allergic reactions to foods and not being thoughtful or cleaning the area if using to make other foods and can have a lawsuit too.

The food is good, the customer service is HORRIBLE. Ordering online, numerous times and when it says to pick up the food, it hasn’t even been started. This last time was the worst. Ordered our food and said it would be ready for 6:15, sat in the store for 30 minutes before they even started our order, waited a total of 2 hours as our food was ordered at 5, didn’t get it until after 7. Treated us like it was our fault.

When I came in it felt unwelcoming. It was both a man and lady there eating and the vibe was as if they didn't want to do anything or want me there. However, the lady and the man got up and went to the back to make the food. Store is clean. I checked everything out and looked around. I like how I can see them preparing my food. They appeared to have everything in the back area clean and orderly. I was pleased to see this. Food was good. Hot and fresh. Honestly, as of current, this is the best chinese spot in my opinion. I been to a few of them in the CU area. Been to the Golden Harbor, Cravings (on campus), a spot downtown Champaign and a spot in Urbana (over by the Salt and Light). Out of all of them, they (the Green Jade) had the best tasting Chinese food to me. The only recent I deducted a star is due to the vibes. It was no smile from the lady or the guy. No hello, no nothing. It seemed like an attitude coming from the lady. Maybe that's just how her mood is, idk? However, the food was good, and she did say "thank you". When my husband and I went there , it was late afternoon and it wasn't busy. We were never greeted and asked them if they were ready to take our order. The woman was rude. When our food was ready, she sat it on the counter and didn't say anything. Good thing we were watching. It was bad customer service and a bad vibe but the food, I won't lie, was pretty good.
